•It turns out that the taxi driver's adored daughter was one of  the youths he criticized for being morally inadequate and immature since they became social escorts and wandered around hotels. He makes money by taking the kids to these places as  well, despite his verbal animosity.

PLOT

The taxi man and his passenger engage in a conversation of difference generations and culture.He talks about problems with young people.

The passenger was given a warm greeting by the taxi drive.

When contrasting the current and past circumstances in Singapore.

CLIMAX

The taxi driver revealed the horrible behaviors and actions of the young girls who hung out at their house after school.He described an encounter with a young woman wearing a provocative outfit  and makeup on her face, along with her American or European lover. They were in his taxi after he picked them up from the Elroy hotel. They did nothing but make out in the taxi the entire time, paying little attention to the fare they would have to pay. Thus, when night falls, these young females are not simply ordinary schoolgirls but a source of discomfort.

FALLING ACTION

He decided to lock his daughter at her room for three days and lied to his daughter’s teacher that she is sick so that she will be excused. Not long after that incident, things are going on well according to what they want for them.

The taxi man who was the main subject of the story was at the same time the narrator of his own story

RESOLUTION

The instructor (passenger) was already at the gate and had to go   to a meeting, thus the talk came to an end.

The taxi driver also    hurried to the Elroy Hotel to pick up some clients.
